Midlife Musings: Welcome to Love Middle Life

What Is LoveMiddleLife.com All About?

At its core, Love Middle Life is a community—a cozy corner of the internet where we share stories, swap wisdom, and lift each other up. Whether you’re in your 40s, 50s, or beyond, this space is yours. Here’s what you can expect:

  1. Authentic Conversations: We dive deep into the heart of midlife. From resilience to reinvention, love to legacy, we explore it all. No filters, no pretense—just real talk.
  2. Empowerment: Midlife isn’t a crisis; it’s an invitation. We celebrate the power of this chapter. You’re not done; you’re just getting started. Let’s embrace the adventure together.
  3. Upcoming Episodes: Buckle up! We’re tackling financial fears head-on. Money matters, and we’ll explore how women navigate finances, investments, and financial independence. Stay tuned for insightful conversations. I have a new featured segment planned: Strength Training with Natalie. My talented daughter (a former gymnast and now an Exercise Science student) joins us. Together, we’ll demystify strength training for midlife women. Get ready to feel strong, inside and out.

A Peek into My Journey

Allow me to reintroduce myself. I’m Gina Fromme, your fellow midlife adventurer. Here’s a snapshot of my life:

  • Married at 23 Divorced at 45: Fresh out of undergrad, I said “I do.” Like a lot of marriages and relationships, twists and turns awaited.
  • First-Generation College Graduate: Education opened doors, and I carved my path in nonprofit fundraising. Today, I head up the fundraising team for Missouri’s largest animal welfare organization.
  • Three Children, One Angel: Motherhood—joy, loss, and resilience. My son’s struggle with addiction shook me to my core. And my love for my two daughters in their 20s keeps me going!
  • Homes and Divorce: I built homes, both brick and metaphorical. And yes, I’ve faced divorce too.
  • From Suburbs to City: The cityscape beckoned, and I answered. New adventures, new perspectives.
  • Family Bonds: My parents, my brother—each facing their battles. My mom has dementia, and my brother is battling cancer. We hold each other up.
  • Europe Awaits: Wanderlust tugs at my heart. This year, I’m Europe-bound for the first time.
  • Overthinking and Contemplation: The meaning of life? I ponder it often.
